Visitor programs

The School of Archaeology and Anthropology welcomes visitors from around the world. The school highly values the contributions that are made by visitors to the campus community.

Applying to the School of Archaeology and Anthropology

Applicants should contact one of the School's academic staff in order to determine a staff member whose current research is relevant to the intended field of study. Visiting fellows work closely with their hosts, so it is important that your research interests overlap.

ELIGIBILITY: Please read the ANU policy which lays down the eligibility requirements for visitor status.

If you make the decision to pursue the opportunity to come to the School as a Visitor, you will need to provide:

  • A brief CV
  • A research proposal, detailing what you plan to do while you are at the University
  • If you are a graduate student, you will need to provide a letter of support from your supervisor
